Compatibility ERC-20 compatible, DeFi compatible.
Omni Chain Format
COOK is natively deployed on Ethereum L1 and utilizes the LayerZero V2 OFT standard. It follows a Lock / Unlock
mechanism on the Ethereum L1 Gateway, and a Mint / Burn
mechanism on other chains. The amount locked on Ethereum L1 will always match the sum of net-minted tokens across all other chains.
When a user requests a bridge transaction from L1 to another chain, COOK will be locked in the relevant LayerZeroL1 Adapter (Gateway) smart contract, and minted on the destination chain (e.g., Mantle L2). User requests are cryptographically signed and verified by LayerZero endpoints on both source and destination chains. Users can bridge from any chain to any other supported chain without necessarily routing through Ethereum L1.
Bridge finality takes 5-20 minutes in any direction.
